I’m going to teach you how to roast a whole artichoke:

Step 1: Cut off the stem

Step 2: Cut off the top with a serrated knife

Step 3: Insert 2 skinned cloves of garlic that have had their tips cut off

Step 4: Put in rectangle of foil, in a pan with 1 inch sides. Add a good amount of olive oil, squeeze lemon over chokes and place cut lemon in bottom of foil boat. Sprinkle with sea salt. Wrap the foil around the chokes.

Step 5: Place foil-wrapped chokes in preheated oven at 425 degrees F for 1 hour and 15 minutes
